Maple Blondies with Maple Butter Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°
Spray a 11x7 pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar together with mixer until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, vanilla, maple extract.
Slowly add in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Fold in white chocolate chips.
Spread batter into pan and bake 25-30 minutes.
Let cool before cutting into squares.
MAPLE BUTTER SAUCE
⅓ c butter
1 c sugar
8 oz cream cheese
¼ c. maple syrup
2 T brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium sauce pan, melt butter. Add sugars and maple syrup. Heat to dissolve before adding cream cheese.
Cook over medium heat and stir until smooth. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Once the blondies are cooked and cooled completely, cut blondies into squares and serve with butter pecan ice cream and drizzle sauce over the top.
